Day Porter

Shift Options: Monday–Friday

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay: $24 – $27/hour
Location: Waltham, MA

About the Job

We’re looking for a reliable Day Porter to help keep a busy facility clean, safe, and presentable. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, stays active throughout the day, and can work independently.

What You’ll Do

Perform daily cleaning and building walkthroughs
Collect and dispose of trash throughout the facility
Clean and restock restrooms and common areas
Mop, sweep, vacuum, and buff floors
Dust and disinfect high-touch surfaces
Keep cleaning supplies stocked and organized
Perform spot cleaning as needed
Assist with basic building tasks (light bulb changes, minor upkeep)
Support cleaning of clinical or sensitive areas following procedures

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of janitorial or custodial experience
Experience in healthcare or clinical environments preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies safely

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to read and follow instructions in English
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Clean driving record preferred
Basic computer skills a plus (emails, reports, work orders)
