Job Summary
The Group Operations Associate supports the daily operations of both TalentBox Caribbean Limited and Splash Investments Limited b y managing HR operations, recruitment coordination, payroll support, employee onboarding/offboarding, client support, front-line financial services, shipping operations, compliance, and administrative functions.
This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professional who can work across both businesses while maintaining confidentiality, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. The successful candidate must be proactive, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
A. TalentBox Caribbean – HR, Recruitment & Operations
Recruitment & Talent Coordination

Support the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding
Source, screen, and coordinate candidates for interviews
Schedule interviews via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Spark Hire
Manage candidate pipelines within RecruitCRM and maintain accurate records
Conduct reference checks, background checks, and assessment coordination
Prepare shortlists, interview reports, offer letters, and onboarding documentation

Payroll, Onboarding & Employee Operations

Assist with fortnightly and monthly payroll processing for internal and EOR employees
Review timesheets, verify attendance, overtime, allowances, and payroll deductions
Prepare payroll summaries and support statutory filings including PAYE, NIS, NHT, and Education Tax
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
Prepare employment contracts, collect employee documents, and manage electronic signatures
Maintain employee files, HR records, and payroll documentation
Monitor leave requests, PTO, attendance, and disciplinary records
Support employee welfare initiatives, engagement activities, and workplace issue resolution
Manage benefits administration including health insurance, pension, and employee support programs

EOR Client & Contract Management

Support Employer of Record (EOR) employee management and client servicing
Conduct client site visits to monitor employee performance, attendance, and workplace conditions
Coordinate contract renewals, employment changes, and offboarding processes
Ensure compliance with Jamaican labor laws and internal policies
Respond to payroll, HR, and employee relations queries from clients and staff
Assist with workforce planning, operational reporting, and KPI monitoring

B. Splash Investments – Front Line & Financial Operations
Remittance & Financial Services

Process transactions for MoneyGram, Western Union, JN Money, Xoom, Ria, Remitly, and related services
Verify customer identity using ID and TRN in accordance with AML and BOJ compliance standards
Receive and disburse cash accurately while maintaining transaction security
Process Bill Express services and loan facilitation through First Union Financial
Escalate suspicious transactions and ensure proper transaction filing and reporting

Shipping, Courier & Customer Service

Process UnionOne Express shipping transactions and package releases
Track packages using PK# and UOE# references and resolve discrepancies
Verify deliveries against dispatch sheets and maintain inventory accuracy
Deliver excellent customer service to walk-in clients and business customers
Answer calls, resolve inquiries, and ensure customers are attended to promptly and professionally

Cash Handling & Branch Administration

Complete end-of-day cash balancing and branch reconciliation
Submit daily reports before leaving the office
Investigate shortages, transaction errors, and reporting discrepancies
Maintain branch records, filing systems, and operational reports
Support management with administrative tasks and special projects

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Recruitment turnaround time and interview scheduling targets
Payroll accuracy and statutory filing compliance
Employee onboarding/offboarding completion rate
Contract and employee file management accuracy
Client satisfaction and employee retention
Front-line transaction accuracy and EOD balancing
Compliance adherence and reporting timeliness
Customer service quality and issue resolution speed

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Management Studies, or related field
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, payroll support, recruitment coordination, customer service, financial services, or administration
Experience in payroll processing, recruitment, or front-line financial services is highly preferred

Working Conditions

May be required to work across Montego Bay and Wakefield locations
May require occasional client site visits and after-hours operational support
Requires handling confidential HR and financial information
Involves both office-based and customer-facing responsibilities
