Incident Manager (Cyber)

Redherd is supporting a search for an Incident Response Manager (non-technical) to join a specialist cybersecurity consultancy operating at the forefront of major cyber incidents. This role focuses on leading and coordinating complex incidents end-to-end, acting as the central point of control across technical teams, executives, legal, and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for running incident bridges, managing communications, tracking decisions, and ensuring effective response under pressure. Unlike traditional DFIR roles, this position is less about hands-on technical investigation and more about incident leadership, coordination, and executive communication. Strong technical awareness is still important, particularly in understanding how incidents unfold (e.g. ransomware, credential compromise, cloud breaches).
