Wealth Advisory Director — Singapore (or APAC)

We are partnering with our client is building the future of wealth management team. Our client is a fast-growing digital wealth platform, trusted with significant assets and focused on changing how people across Asia‑Pacific build wealth through a holistic, digital-first approach.

Role summary
We are seeking a Wealth Advisory Director to lead the advisory function as a hands‑on player‑coach: managing and mentoring a team while remaining actively engaged in top‑tier client relationships. This role operates at the intersection of client leadership, advisory, and platform development—shaping how we serve both mass affluent and high‑net‑worth clients at scale and driving strategic growth across the APAC region. You will design a hybrid advisory model that delivers deeply personalised experiences for HNW clients and translates advisory into scalable, tech‑enabled journeys for the next generation of investors.
Key responsibilities

Team leadership & governance: Mentor and develop advisory talent, raise advisory quality standards, and ensure operations comply with regional regulatory requirements.
Hands‑on client advisory: Originate and grow high‑net‑worth relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to a select portfolio of clients through proactive business development and high‑quality investment advice.
Strategic growth & platform scalability: Define end‑to‑end HNW strategy and business plans; collaborate with product and engineering teams to digitise and scale advisory services for the mass affluent segment.
Stakeholder engagement: Influence senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to align product, compliance, and commercial priorities.
Performance & governance: Drive AUM growth, monitor portfolio performance metrics, and embed governance and risk controls across advisory processes.

Key Requirement

8–12+ years in wealth management, investment advisory, or client‑facing/sales roles with substantial exposure to HNW clients.
Proven track record in client acquisition and AUM growth; ability to independently originate opportunities.
Deep knowledge of markets, financial products, and portfolio construction; able to engage in sophisticated investment discussions.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Builder mindset: motivated to create new advisory models and scale them via technology.
Strong commercial instincts coupled with a long‑term, client‑first approach.

Familiarity with digital advisory platforms and interest in fintech or start‑ups.
Licenses or eligibility under relevant financial adviser regulation in the region (e.g., MAS licensing in Singapore) is a plus.
