Stemgenic is proud to be partnering exclusively with a growing international specialty chemicals manufacturer establishing a new manufacturing facility in Singapore as part of its Asia-Pacific expansion strategy.

The company is recognised globally for its expertise in high-performance polyurethane, epoxy, silicones, adhesives, sealants, and advanced material technologies — supporting industries such as e-mobility, energy storage, automotive electronics, industrial systems, and electrical engineering applications.

Role Summary

Lead the Quality laboratory setup and analytical operations for a new specialty chemicals manufacturing facility in Singapore. Establish the QC function from day one, including a mandatory 4-week training programme at the European headquarters prior to production start.

Key Responsibilities

Lead routine and non-routine analytical testing activities
Support commissioning and setup of the QC laboratory
Oversee laboratory documentation, SOPs, calibration, and quality records
Support investigations relating to product deviations, CAPA, and customer complaints
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Quality Executives
Partner closely with Production, HSE, and overseas Quality stakeholders

Ideal Background

5–8 years of QC laboratory experience within manufacturing
Strong wet chemistry and laboratory instrumentation exposure
Experience leading small laboratory teams (mandatory)
Exposure to polyurethane, epoxy, silicone, polymer, or specialty chemicals preferred
Strong quality-system and manufacturing support experience
