We're seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to serve as the senior electrical expert for a large commercial and industrial facility. What You'll Do

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of commercial and industrial electrical systems
Serve as the senior onsite electrical resource for facility operations and maintenance
Lead maintenance and operation of power distribution systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, and electrical infrastructure
Install, test, and repair wiring, conduit, motor controls, VFDs, lighting systems, and electrical equipment
Support automation systems and production equipment by diagnosing and resolving electrical failures
Maintain emergency generators, UPS systems, fire pumps, lighting systems, and other critical facility equipment
Perform system startups, commissioning activities, and electrical testing up to 600 volts
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for electrical equipment and facility systems
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, and all applicable safety standards
Coordinate subcontractors and work closely with facility leadership to prioritize maintenance activities
Maintain maintenance records, service documentation, and inventory while providing technical leadership to the team

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Journeyman Electrician License required
10+ years of commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience
NFPA 70E certification or equivalent electrical safety training
Valid driver's license required
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, switchgear, breakers, transformers, relays, VFDs, UPS systems, and motor controls
Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems and industrial automation equipment
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, technical manuals, and specifications
Strong understanding of NEC requirements and electrical safety procedures
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to serve as the lead electrical resource and technical expert on site
