Overview

Our client, a company known for creating artfully handcrafted truffle products, is seeking a versatile and driven Operations Manager (Sales & Lead Generation) to support internal operations and fuel sales growth.

This role is a hybrid position designed to fill critical gaps following recent leadership changes while supporting a growing sales team. The ideal candidate will balance administrative execution, project management, and hands-on lead generation to help drive efficiency and revenue.

Primary Function

The primary function of this role is to support executive operations while generating qualified leads for the sales team, ensuring both internal alignment and consistent pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Project Management (70%)

Provide direct support to leadership, including Jimmy Kunz
Manage internal projects, timelines, and deliverables
Assist with reporting and operational coordination across teams
Track and summarize sales team performance metrics (via HubSpot once implemented)
Support onboarding and coordination of four entry-level sales representatives
Help stabilize operations following recent team changes (CFO, Sales Manager)

Lead Generation & Sales Support (30%)

Conduct 40 hours/week of lead generation activities during lower admin-demand periods
Execute outbound prospecting using a structured process:
- AI-assisted research
- Manual verification (menus, Yelp, etc.)
- Identify decision-makers via LinkedIn
- Input and organize data for sales outreach
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads
Collaborate with sales reps to ensure lead quality and conversion readiness

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in operations, sales support, or lead generation roles
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred or similar)
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting workloads
Experience with lead generation and data research processes
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Self-starter mentality with strong work ethic and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in food & beverage, CPG, or wholesale environments
Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn, Yelp, and AI research platforms
Background supporting sales teams or revenue operations
Experience working in fast-growing or transitional environments

Role Details

Fully remote position
Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (U.S. hours)
Hybrid role combining operations support and lead generation
