Key Responsibilities for CFD Analysis Engineer job:

Perform CFD analysis and thermal design for motors, generators, and power electronic systems
Develop and enhance CFD and thermal modelling tools as part of this job
Carry out analytical and numerical simulations to evaluate temperature profiles and cooling strategies
Use FEA and CFD tools as primary validation methods within this job
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test procedures and manufacturing instructions
Support validation, testing, and qualification activities within the scope of this job
Identify improvements in performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability
Support fault finding, root cause analysis, and DFMEA activities as required in this job

Skills & Experience required for the CFD Analysis Engineer job:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with thermal or aerodynamic content
Experience in a similar CFD-focused job
Advanced knowledge of FEA and CFD tools for thermal analysis
Experience with electrical machines and/or power electronics
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel capability for modelling and analysis
