Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant to join their Sales department. The purpose of this role is to increase revenue for the company through effective customer engagement, sales administration, quoting, costing, order processing, and ongoing support to internal operational teams.

Responsibilities

Handling customer enquiries and queries effectively
Liaising with clients telephonically and via email, including existing customer database engagement
Managing daily activities relating to transport contractors, logistics, procurement, and customer enquiries
Liaising with managers regarding operational requirements, production, product, and sales levels daily
Managing general sales administration requirements
Preparing quotes, designing on CAD, costing, order processing, warranty tracking, delivery tracking, and general tracking
Maintaining cold calling registers, budget tracking, daily workload reporting, daily prospect reporting, and customer surveys

Requirements

Matric
Sales, Marketing, or related diploma
Strong Excel Skills / Advanced Excel certificate
3–5 years’ experience in a similar position
Construction costing experience
Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite
Knowledge of layout drawings
Sales and market research experience
Good CAD experience
Exceptional customer service skills
Own vehicle would be advantageous
