Quality & Compliance Systems Manager – Weyhill, England

I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Quality & Compliance Systems Manager to join a well-established engineering organisation based in Weyhill, England. This is a senior-level opportunity for a proactive professional to take ownership of quality systems, compliance frameworks, Health & Safety oversight, and HR process support across the business.

This is a key job for someone who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, and leading internal and external audit programmes.

Experience and skills required for the Quality & Compliance Systems Manager job:

Experience in Quality Management or Quality Engineering within a regulated or engineering environment
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
Experience in internal and external auditing (Lead or Internal Auditor qualification desirable)
Strong understanding of CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods
Experience or awareness of Health & Safety management systems (desirable)
Ability to produce clear reports, procedures, and documentation
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally

Key Responsibilities for the Quality & Compliance Systems Manager job:

Maintain, develop, and improve the ISO 9001:2015 QMS
Plan and lead internal and external audit programmes
Manage non-conformances, CAPA, and root cause investigations
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Act as primary contact for customer complaints and supplier quality issues
Oversee Health & Safety compliance across the organisation
Support HR policy and process compliance in collaboration with senior leadership
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all functions
