Internal Sales Support – Hydraulics & Industrial Engineering

Dublin | Very Attractive Salary + Bonus | Excellent Career Progression

Do you know hydraulics, engineering or industrial machinery – and enjoy dealing with customers?

You don't necessarily need years of sales experience.

You might currently work in hydraulics, engineering, agricultural or plant machinery, industrial parts, a trade counter, technical support or customer service and be looking for an opportunity to develop your commercial skills.

Alternatively, you may already be working in Internal Sales or Technical Sales and be ready for your next move.

Either way, this could be an excellent opportunity to build your career with Flowtech – a market-leading name in fluid power and industrial engineering.

The Opportunity

Discovery ADR is recruiting an Internal Sales Support professional to join Flowtech's established team in Dublin.

This is a genuine sales development opportunity. You'll receive excellent product and sales training, work alongside experienced people and have the opportunity to progress your career as you develop.

Your role will be to build relationships with customers, understand what they need and identify opportunities to grow business across Flowtech's extensive product offering.

You'll be encouraged to become a trusted advisor to your customers rather than simply taking orders.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be involved in:

Speaking with existing and prospective customers and understanding their requirements
Preparing quotations and following up opportunities
Developing and growing your own customer base
Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell
Supporting the external sales team and working closely with colleagues across the business
Building a strong pipeline of sales opportunities
Developing your knowledge of Flowtech's hydraulic, fluid power and industrial product range
Occasionally joining Account Managers on customer visits

The role has real commercial responsibility, with a focus on growing sales, margin, quote conversion and customer opportunities.

Who Would Be a Great Fit?

We're particularly interested in hearing from you if you have some knowledge or experience of hydraulics, engineering or selling into industrial customers.

Your experience could have come from areas such as:

You don't need to know everything from day one.

What matters is that you're comfortable talking to customers, commercially minded, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in developing your technical knowledge and sales career.

Previous fluid power experience is desirable, while strong communication skills, organisation, customer confidence and a proactive, can-do attitude are key to succeeding in the role.
