What you'll do

Define the strategy and roadmap for the company's internal platforms, developer tools, and business systems.
Design and build scalable internal tools that improve productivity across engineering, operations, finance, HR, legal, and other business functions.
Lead the integration of AI and automation into internal workflows to streamline processes and improve decision-making.
Architect reliable, secure, cloud-native platforms using modern APIs, microservices, and automation technologies.
Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and manage the evolution of both custom-built and third-party internal systems.
Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team while establishing strong engineering standards and development practices.
Partner closely with business and engineering leaders to translate operational challenges into scalable technical solutions.
Continuously improve developer experience, internal productivity, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

Significant experience building and leading engineering teams responsible for internal platforms, developer tooling, or enterprise systems.
Strong hands-on background in software engineering, cloud architecture, APIs, automation, and distributed systems.
Experience designing and scaling internal tools serving multiple business functions.
Strong product mindset with a focus on user experience, adoption, and measurable business impact.
Experience evaluating build-versus-buy decisions and integrating third-party SaaS platforms.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Experience integrating AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation into business workflows is highly desirable.
Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments with a builder's mindset and strong sense of ownership.
