Position Overview

A rapidly expanding, highly profitable mid-sized systems integrator is seeking a Lead Security Installation Technician to spearhead enterprise-level commercial physical security deployments across the DMV region.

This role is tailored for a senior field professional looking to escape the slow-moving advancement tracks of massive corporate organizations. Our client is experiencing 30% year-over-year revenue growth and is actively building multi-million dollar installation projects. This position serves as an explicit, structured development track to train and transition top field talent into formal Project Management and project operations roles within 12 to 24 months.

Core Responsibilities

Field Deployment & Commissioning: Lead the on-site installation, physical device termination, programming, and system configuration of complex, commercial-tier Access Control Systems (ACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS).
Head-End Network Integration: Configure network-connected security devices, assign IP addresses, and troubleshoot network switches, routers, and communication subnets to ensure seamless head-end integration.
On-Site Project Leadership: Act as the primary working field lead—directing daily technician workflows, coordinating layouts, managing subcontractors, and ensuring field deployments are completed on schedule.
Client & Vendor Liaison: Interface directly with client facilities and technical teams on-site, manage equipment documentation, and coordinate small-scale enhancement projects (e.g., camera additions, panel upgrades).

Required Technical Skills & Experience

Enterprise Platform Expertise: Proven hands-on installation and programming proficiency with at least two or more major enterprise security platforms, such as Software House CCURE 9000, LenelS2, Genetec Security Center, Verkada, or ExacqVision.
Strong Network Core: A deep understanding of IP network infrastructure, layout, and connectivity troubleshooting. Academic backgrounds or technical certifications in Information Systems/Information Assurance are highly valued.
Leadership Track Record: Experience operating as an on-site lead technician, supervisor, or field dispatcher. Ability to read blueprints, manage material inventories, and accurately document system modifications.

Company expense/credit card for project materials and localized expenses.
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance packages.
