About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Operations Specialist to join the Marketplace Operations & Growth team. Designed for a data-driven individual who balances numerical rigor with on-ground execution, this role focuses on managing marketplace health, predicting industry trends, and executing high-impact growth strategies. The ideal candidate will bridge global strategic vision with local market realities to drive category expansion and marketplace stability.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a strategic bridge between local operations and global product/strategy teams, translating operational requirements and complex data findings into clear actions for all stakeholders.
Data-Driven & Nuanced Decision Making: Balance analytical hypotheses with practical on-ground realities (such as traffic patterns, regulations, and driver sentiment) to execute projects independently from ideation to completion.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (Business, Analytics, IT, Engineering, or Statistics).
Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in a data-driven operations role, ideally within a marketplace, e-commerce, or tech-enabled environment.
Technical Stack: Proficiency in Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivot tables, automation) and working knowledge of SQL and dashboarding tools (Tableau or Power BI).
Digital Marketing Knowledge: Understanding or practical exposure to digital marketing platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) is a distinct advantage.
Key Competencies: Strong balance of analytical and creative thinking, data-backed hypothesis generation, high bias for action, and collaborative stakeholder management skills.

Benefits

Highly competitive salary aligned with Sri Lanka's tech and marketplace sector standards.
Exposure to multi-market operational frameworks, global product teams, and accelerated career growth opportunities.
