Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, high-taste Creative Director / Spatial Designer to serve as the visual conscience of our experiential agency. In this role, you will concept, sketch, render, and construct every visual direction our clients see and every physical environment our guests experience—from high-tier branded activations to luxury events.

Operating fully remotely as both the visionary creative lead and hands-on craftsperson, you will turn abstract client briefs into presentation-ready 3D renders, fabricator-ready specification sheets, and digital load-in guidelines. Rooted in a design philosophy of restraint, intention, and structural beauty, you will own the end-to-end remote design lifecycle, defend quality standards through virtual vendor collaboration, and safeguard the finishing details that define luxury experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creative Concepting, 3D Rendering & Pitches

Pitch Ideation & Decks: Develop original creative concepts for new business pitches, including single dominant visual themes, mood boards, dimensional studies, and client-facing presentation decks.
Hands-On 3D Visualization: Construct detailed 3D environment renders featuring accurate materials, lighting, scale, and dimensional callouts that clients use for sponsorship, decision-making, and sign-offs.
Brand Language Governance: Evolve and protect our internal visual identity across our website, sales collateral, social channels, and digital event representations.

2. Vendor Briefing, Fabricator Specs & Revisions

Fabricator Specifications: Translate high-level creative concepts into precise, fabricator-ready technical spec sheets with exact dimensions and material callouts.
Client Revision Management: Navigate client revision cycles with agility—presenting multi-tiered budget options and keeping designs elevated through every iteration without ego.
Quality & Material Assurance: Review digital vendor samples, approve fabrication material specs remotely, hold finish quality standards, and verify that production plans match initial approved designs.

3. Remote Execution & Virtual Quality Control

Digital Load-In Guidelines: Build comprehensive aesthetic checklists, spatial layouts, and virtual setup guides to ensure on-site production teams execute the design seamlessly.
Virtual Cross-Functional Alignment: Enforce quality and finish standards firmly yet respectfully with fabricators, lighting teams, F&B leads, and production partners via digital review channels.
Surge Cycle Output: Manage fast-turnaround design revisions and pre-event production handoffs during peak event windows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Portfolio: Proven track record in creative direction, 3D spatial design, or experiential agency design, supported by a portfolio demonstrating agency-quality concept decks and 3D environment renders for luxury or cultural experiences.
Hands-On 3D & Design Tools: Deep technical proficiency in 3D environment modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, Rhino, Twinmotion, Enscape, or V-Ray) and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Presentation Software: Mastery of Figma, Keynote, and Google Slides for building agency-grade presentation decks.
AI Tool Integration: Working fluency with AI generative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Sora, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to accelerate creative ideation without sacrificing aesthetic taste.
Hardware Setup: Must provide your own workstation hardware capable of rendering complex 3D environments, along with required creative design software.
Remote Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills for collaborating across distributed teams, vendors, and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building or designing within complex brand guidelines for luxury, tech, or cultural brands.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

30-Day Onboarding Integration: Mastering internal visual guidelines, taking full ownership of active creative deliverables, and delivering first-round 3D renders for active accounts.
90-Day Execution Ownership: Successfully leading end-to-end creative direction for a project from concept pitch through fabricator briefing and production handoff.
12-Month Portfolio Impact: Driving creative strategy for major new business wins and elevating the brand's visual footprint across web, decks, and spatial concepts.
