Accountant (Payables)
We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional who will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounts payable transactions, payroll processing, vendor reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting records while supporting the timely preparation of the Company's financial statements.
Key Responsibilities

Process local supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
Prepare vendor reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
Prepare monthly audit schedules and financial reports.
Monitor utility payments and other company obligations.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual stock counts.
Generate weekly payables reports and support month-end financial reporting.
Assist with annual budgeting and statutory audits.
Provide backup support for Treasury and Receivables functions when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent, or ACCA Level 1.
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a similar accounting or accounts payable role.

Knowledge & Skills

Accounts Payable processes.
Payroll processing.
Microsoft Excel (advanced reconciliations and reporting).
ERP/Accounting systems (Business Central experience would be an asset).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
