Most business development roles hand you a territory and a quota. This one hands you an opportunity to lead. Creative Alignments has a proven history of success in the technology sector, and we’re ready to make it a bigger part of our future. We’re looking for someone with the vision, relationships, and entrepreneurial drive to own that growth and build something exceptional.

Creative Alignments

Creative Alignments is changing the way companies think about recruiting. We believe hiring should be transparent, collaborative, and centered around long-term partnerships, not transactions. Our mission isn't to sell recruiting, it's to help growing companies solve business problems through great talent.

Rather than forcing every client into a single recruiting model, we build solutions around their unique goals and hiring challenges.
● Embedded hourly recruiting partnerships
● Long-term fixed-fee recruiting solutions
● Customized recruiting strategies designed around business objectives

For nearly two decades we've partnered with innovative companies across technology, better-for-you food & beverage, consumer products, health & wellness, climate & sustainability, manufacturing, and purpose-driven industries. We're a Certified B Corporation, a perennial Best Place to Work, and a team that genuinely enjoys building something special together.

What You Will Do

Our technology practice has grown through exceptional client work, referrals, and long-term relationships - not aggressive outbound sales. We've partnered with some of the most innovative companies including SolidFire, VictorOps, TextUs, CommonFont, Liqid, and many others by helping them solve critical challenges every growing business faces: hiring exceptional people. Now we're making a deliberate investment in growing that business.

We're looking for someone who wants to build relationships, become a trusted advisor within the technology community, and help shape the future of one of the recruiting industry's most respected firms. This isn’t a territory to manage. It’s a market to build, and a chance to shape how Creative Alignments grows.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategy to grow new technology client partnerships.
Build relationships with founders, CEOs, investors, and HR executives.
Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, conferences, strategic outreach, and thought leadership.
Lead consultative discovery conversations focused on solving business challenges.
Partner closely with our Delivery team to create exceptional client experiences.
Represent Creative Alignments throughout the technology ecosystem.
Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.

Who You Are

You have a track record of creating opportunities from nothing, earning the confidence of executives, and building relationships that stand the test of time. Whether you're networking at a conference, following up on a referral, leading a discovery meeting, or sitting across from a CEO, your curiosity and authenticity naturally create trust. If your favorite part of business development is understanding businesses, earning trust, solving problems, and building executive relationships that last for years, this may be the role for you.

Qualifications:

5+ years of consultative B2B business development success.
Experience selling professional services, executive search, recruiting, consulting, HR technology, enterprise software, or similar solutions.
Demonstrated success developing executive relationships and winning new business.
Strong communication, presentation, and CRM discipline.
Entrepreneurial, self-driven, mindset with a builder mentality.
Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time for conferences, networking events, client meetings, and industry engagement.

This probably isn't for you:

If you’re looking for a high-volume transactional sales role...this probably isn’t it.
If you’re looking for a company that hands you a mature territory...this probably isn’t it.
If you’re most comfortable selling one solution to every client...this probably isn’t it.

Benefits

$80,000 to $120,000 base salary plus clear, attainable sales goals that would result in on-target earnings exceeding twice your base compensation levels. Comprehensive benefits, flexibility, and meaningful long-term career growth complete the package.

75% employer paid health insurance for medical, dental and vision (50% coverage for dependents)
401(k) participation and 2% of annual compensation match, dollar for dollar
Ability to accrue up to 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) + 8 holidays
Monthly technology/phone reimbursement
Home office stipend
Maternity, paternity, and bereavement leave
Team building outings and events

Joining a new company is one of the biggest professional decisions you’ll make. If this opportunity resonates with you, we’d welcome the opportunity to get to know you, answer your questions, and explore whether Creative Alignments is the right place for your next chapter.

Business can be a powerful platform for social change, and our higher purpose is to use recruiting as a force for good to improve people’s lives. Creative Alignments is committed to fostering a people-first culture — one that honors diversity and welcomes people regardless of their chosen or inherent identity. As part of this, we are intentional in our efforts to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion, both internally and with our clients.
