We operate through a mix of showroom locations and a shop-at-home model, pairing expert field salespeople with a personalized, in-home consultative approach. As we grow, we're building out the behind-the-scenes support that keeps our sales team focused on what they do best — being in front of clients.

About the Role
This role exists to protect our salespeople's selling time and elevate the client experience from the first phone call through post-installation.

You'll be the connective tissue between our clients and our field team — running virtual phone consultations, qualifying and nurturing leads while interest is high, coordinating appointments, and keeping back-office operations organized. When you do this well, our salespeople walk into every in-home appointment fully briefed, with warmer and better-informed clients, and nothing slips through the cracks in between.

Key Responsibilities

Inside Sales & Lead Engagement

Conduct virtual phone consultations with clients assigned through the Hunter Douglas Retail Lead Network (Home Depot and JCPenney accounts) on behalf of the sales team.
Respond quickly to warm inbound leads across all channels — Hunter Douglas, website, and social media — engaging clients while their interest is high.
Qualify leads by uncovering project scope, number of windows, and product interests, then walk clients through their options.
Educate clients on our product lines so they arrive at their in-home appointment informed and ready to move forward.
Send curated product information and links after each call to help clients narrow their choices and set the salesperson up to close.
Document each consultation and hand off clear notes so the assigned salesperson walks in fully briefed.

Appointment & Phone Coordination

Provide overflow and backup phone coverage for the Westfield and Tenafly showrooms when managers are unavailable.
Staff the Princeton phone line full-time, as that location runs shop-at-home without a dedicated showroom manager.
Reschedule and adjust client appointments on behalf of salespeople when conflicts arise.
Confirm appointments the day before to reduce no-shows.

CRM, Operations & Sales Support

Assist with quoting products and building out project details.
Order materials and samples for our open-market residential clients (direct clients outside the Retail Lead Network) using company vendor accounts.
Nurture aged and cold leads in GoHighLevel so nothing goes stale, and reactivate old quotes that never closed.
Make post-installation follow-up calls to request Google reviews.
Triage the shared inbox and route emails to the correct salesperson.
Maintain data hygiene in GoHighLevel — keeping tags, pipeline stages, and lead sources clean and current.
Prepare quote packets and sample lists ahead of installations so salespeople arrive ready.
Review and refine standard operating procedures on an ongoing basis.

Required Qualifications

Excellent spoken and written English with a warm, consultative, and confident phone presence.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple client and sales workflows without dropping details.
Comfort with CRM systems and general tech-savviness (email, scheduling tools, product catalogs).
Proven ability to follow up promptly and persistently without being pushy.
Availability to work 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern consistently, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in inside sales, appointment setting, customer service, or client coordination — ideally in home services, interior design, or a consultative retail environment.
Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM.
Familiarity with window treatments, home décor, or a product-driven sales process.
