Job Title: Outbound Mineral Owner Outreach Specialist

Location: Remote - Open to candidates ideally in South Africa and South America

Employment Type: Full time, Independent Contractor

Working Schedule:

Monday–Friday, with some flexibility for evening calls
Ideally 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time, or preferably 11:00 AM–7:00 PM Eastern Time to better connect with mineral owners after work
Preferred workdays: Tuesday–Saturday, as this may improve connection rates
Saturday availability is a plus, but not a core requirement

Overview

We operate in the oil & gas minerals and royalties space. We buy mineral rights and royalties from mineral owners across the U.S. The team sources leads from data sets, ties phone numbers and addresses to owners, and conducts high-volume outbound outreach to identify owners who may be interested in selling.

We are seeking a confident, personable, and highly motivated Outbound Mineral Owner Outreach Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on high-volume outbound calling to mineral owners across the U.S. to identify potential sellers and book qualified conversations for our acquisitions lead, Charlie. This is a relationship-driven outreach role that requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and the ability to build trust quickly over the phone.

Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to mineral owners using provided lead lists and contact data.
Qualify prospects who may be interested in selling their mineral rights.
Book qualified appointments and hand off interested sellers to Charlie for deeper conversations.
Follow up across multiple touchpoints, including phone, text, and email.
Maintain organized records of outreach activity and lead status.
Work within a structured follow-up process to ensure leads are nurtured effectively.
Collaborate closely with Charlie and the team to refine outreach strategy and messaging.

Requirements

Strong phone presence and excellent conversational skills.
Proven ability to handle high-volume outbound outreach.
Ability to build rapport quickly and comfortably with a wide range of people.
Self-starter with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently as an independent contractor.
Fluent English required; neutral, easy-to-understand accent preferred for this audience.
Prior experience in appointment setting, cold calling, sales, or lead qualification strongly preferred.
Experience in mineral rights or oil and gas is a plus, but not required.

Tools Required:

Familiarity with CRM tools (Airtable preferred)

Soft Skills:

We seek a candidate who is comfortable interacting with older, rural, and conservative U.S. mineral owners.
The candidate must possess high emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust quickly.
Neutral accent and excellent English fluency.
You must be comfortable with "smile and dial" tactics and structured, multi-touch follow-up sequences.

Key Success Factors:

Demonstrated ability to handle objections.
Experience working in a metrics-driven environment.
Comfort with CRM usage (Airtable-style workflows).
Willingness to work Eastern Time hours (specifically up to 7 PM ET).
