About the Company

We are a growing US-based outdoor hospitality group managing a portfolio of premier RV resorts and waterfront destinations.

About the Role

As a Booking & Reservations Sales Specialist, you will drive resort occupancy by converting inbound inquiries, web leads, and outbound pipeline prospects into confirmed bookings across our property portfolio. This is an active, performance-driven sales position—not a passive receptionist or administrative desk—centered on live phone calls, rapid text messaging, and disciplined pipeline follow-up. You will play a critical role in company revenue by building immediate rapport, overcoming hesitation, and guiding travelers smoothly through to a confirmed reservation.

Core Performance Metrics & KPIs

Conversations per Dial: Convert at least 20% of outbound dials into substantive conversations lasting 45 seconds or longer. (Evaluation focuses on real conversations rather than empty dial counts).
Speed to Lead: Contact 100% of new leads within 5 minutes of arrival during shift hours; initiate contact with off-shift leads within the first hour of the next shift.
Inbound Coverage: Answer inbound calls live during shift hours to minimize dropped inquiries or rolled voicemails, and return missed calls immediately.
Pipeline Execution & Conversion: Proactively advance leads through every CRM stage to "Booked," manage consistent SMS follow-ups, and keep the pipeline free of stale leads.
Shift Consistency: Maintain steady, documented calling, texting, and follow-through across the entire 8-hour shift with no unlogged downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Convert inbound reservation inquiries and incoming leads into paid bookings, diagnosing guest travel dates, rig specifications, and preferences to close directly in the reservation system.
Engage new leads within 5 minutes across phone and text channels using our sales CRM, maintaining proactive follow-up until opportunities are booked, closed, or resolved.
Build authentic, conversational rapport with prospective guests—especially older travelers and working-class American families—using a warm, plain-spoken, and unscripted approach.
Overcome guest hesitation, rate questions, and booking objections by presenting site amenities, location advantages, and availability to confidently ask for the deposit.
Recover after-hours voicemails and missed calls during the first hour of each business day, treating every missed contact as an active sales opportunity.
Maintain clean, real-time CRM hygiene, logging accurate call notes, rig details, follow-up timestamps, and pipeline stages immediately after every customer interaction.
