Redherd is recruiting a Cybersecurity Consultant specialising in penetration testing for a permanent, Johannesburg-based opportunity. The role is primarily remote and focuses on hands-on web application, mobile application and internal infrastructure penetration testing. You will identify and validate vulnerabilities, produce detailed reports, present findings and provide practical remediation guidance. Candidates require at least three years of penetration-testing experience, with strong web and mobile testing capability. Certifications are advantageous but practical skill, sound judgement and report quality carry greater weight. A development background is not required, although application security and scripting exposure are valuable. Relevant training and certifications are supported.
