Area Sales Manager – Denmark & Finland

COMPANY PROFILE

Our client is an international market leader in professional cleaning solutions, helping cleaning companies, facility service providers, and industrial customers work more efficiently, safely, and sustainably. The company is particularly recognised for its innovative window cleaning systems, water-fed cleaning technology, and professional cleaning equipment used by customers across Europe and beyond.
This is an opportunity to join a growing international organisation where customer relationships, product expertise, and practical support are central to success. The company combines high-quality products with a strong service mindset and works closely with distributors and end users to deliver long-term value.

Unlike many sales positions, this role is highly operational and hands-on. You will spend a significant amount of time in the field, demonstrating products at customer sites, supporting distribution partners, and training end users. Success comes from your ability to combine commercial drive with practical expertise and genuine customer engagement.

REGION

The position can be based in the Malmö area OR Denmark.
You will work independently within your territory while collaborating closely with colleagues, distributors, and customers across the Nordic region and Europe. The role involves frequent travel and regular customer visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road and working directly with customers.

TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across Denmark and Finland. You will act as a trusted advisor to distributors, key accounts, and end users, ensuring customers receive both commercial and technical support.

A substantial part of your work will be spent on-site with customers. You will demonstrate products in real working environments, advise users on best practices, and deliver practical training sessions to ensure customers achieve the best possible results from their investment.

Your responsibilities include:

Managing and developing the sales activities in Denmark and Finland
Supporting and advising distribution partners and their sales organisations
Maintaining existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities
Conducting product demonstrations and showcasing new innovations at customer sites
Delivering hands-on product training to distributors, customers, and end users
Managing key accounts and supporting long-term customer development
Developing sales strategies, forecasting revenues, and executing territory plans
Collaborating closely with internal departments and participating in international meetings and exhibitions

PROFILE

We are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused professional who enjoys combining sales, customer development, and practical product expertise.

You thrive in a hands-on environment where you can engage directly with customers, demonstrate solutions, and help users improve their day-to-day operations. You are self-motivated, structured, and capable of building trust with stakeholders at all levels.
To succeed in this role, you likely bring:

Several years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within the professional cleaning industry or a related sector
Experience working with distributors and key account customers
A proven ability to sell value-added or technical products
Experience conducting product demonstrations and delivering practical training
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
A structured and analytical approach to managing your sales territory
A high degree of accountability, customer focus, and self-motivation
Fluency in Danish and English. Knowledge of Finnish is considered a plus but not a must.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Scandinavia

Experience within professional cleaning solutions, window cleaning systems, facility services, or similar industries is considered a strong advantage.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

This position offers an attractive compensation package that reflects the importance and responsibility of the role. In addition to a competitive base salary, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence their earnings through a generous bonus programme.
The package includes:

Monthly salary of SEK 50,000 – 60,000
