About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious, analytical, and commercially minded ERP Sales Intern based in Sri Lanka to support global sales and business development operations. Designed for a tech-savvy student or fresh graduate with fundamental exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts, this internship offers hands-on experience in lead generation, client discovery, solution presentation, and international technology sales.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research international target markets to identify potential enterprise clients in need of ERP solutions and implementation services.
Client Engagement & Qualification: Assist the commercial team in reaching out to prospective clients, conducting initial discovery calls, and qualifying leads based on ERP business requirements.
Product & Solution Demos: Learn core ERP modules and functional capabilities to assist in preparing sales collateral, pitch decks, and preliminary solution demonstrations.
CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, lead statuses, and sales pipelines within the corporate CRM system.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct research on industry trends, ERP software developments, and competitor positioning to support global sales strategies.

Requirements

Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems (BIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Domain Knowledge: Foundational understanding of core ERP systems, enterprise business processes (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR), and software lifecycles.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and spoken English skills to interact confidently with international clients and global internal teams.
Technical & Analytical Aptitude: Quick learner with strong analytical skills, comfortable navigating CRM systems, research tools, and productivity software (MS Office, Google Workspace).
Mindset: High energy, proactive work ethic, and a passion for technology consulting and corporate sales.
