Role Overview

We are seeking a Paid Search Strategist to take complete ownership of campaign planning, execution, management, and optimization across Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Advertising, and other search channels.

In this role, you will act as the driving force behind lead generation and conversion performance, managing paid search budgets, conducting keyword research, writing compelling ad text, building targeted campaign structures, and analyzing performance metrics. You will leverage AI-assisted platforms to streamline audience research, ad copy creation, and data analysis while bringing senior-level strategic insight to every account.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a deep understanding of direct-response search logic, bid management strategies, analytics tracking, and cross-functional agency workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

Build, launch, and manage high-performing paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and search networks.
Perform comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and search query mining to identify high-intent traffic opportunities.
Implement effective campaign structures, bidding strategies (Target CPA, Target ROAS, Max Conversions), and match type distributions.
Craft high-converting ad copy, headlines, extensions, and assets tailored to user search intent.
Oversee media budgets, allocation, and pacing to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and lower cost per acquisition (CPA).
Continuously perform A/B testing on ad copy, extensions, landing pages, and target audiences.

AI-Enhanced Strategy & Optimization

Utilize AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Claude) to accelerate keyword strategy, query expansion, ad copy variation generation, and data synthesis.
Apply AI-assisted workflows to analyze complex performance reports and extract actionable strategic recommendations rapidly.
Refine and elevate AI-generated strategy frameworks to ensure strict alignment with client business goals and brand parameters.
Stay up-to-date on platform-level AI features, Smart Bidding updates, and emerging search automation methodologies.

Analytics, Tracking & Funnel Alignment

Monitor and analyze performance data across Google Analytics (GA4), platform dashboards, and internal tracking systems.
Ensure accurate conversion tracking, GTM tag implementations, offline conversion imports, and attribution modeling.
Align search traffic with landing page experiences built within Go High Level to ensure high conversion rates.
Identify performance bottlenecks within sales funnels and collaborate with content and design teams to optimize post-click performance.

Workflow Management & Agency Collaboration

Manage campaign timelines, optimization routines, and project deliverables inside ClickUp.
Partner closely with account managers, content developers, and designers to ensure unified campaign execution.
Utilize Go High Level to review lead flow, track attribution, and verify CRM conversion accuracy for client accounts.
Prepare clear performance reports and present strategic recommendations to internal leadership and clients.

Required Qualifications

5-8 years of professional experience managing performance-driven paid search campaigns (Google Ads & Microsoft/Bing Ads) in an agency or fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of successfully managing ad budgets and delivering scalable ROAS/CPA performance.
Hands-on experience using ChatGPT and Claude (or similar AI tools) for keyword research, ad copy creation, and performance analysis.
Practical experience using ClickUp for task tracking, campaign management, and cross-functional communication.
Practical experience working with Go High Level (CRM) to track leads, monitor funnels, and verify conversion setups.
Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and conversion tracking setups.
Deep understanding of direct-response search marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user search intent.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills with high analytical clarity.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and ad spend portfolios simultaneously.
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
Availability to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing paid search campaigns for both B2B lead generation and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce.
