We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to support multiple commercial customer locations throughout the assigned territory. This is a hands-on field position providing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.

You’ll be provided with a company van and tools and will travel to customer sites to troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, and keep commercial properties operating efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for a strong HVAC technician who also has experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.

What You’ll Do

Perform preventative maintenance on commercial package and split HVAC systems

Inspect and repair belts, pulleys, condensate drains, compressors, motors, blowers, burners, heat exchangers, and safety controls

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system failures

Diagnose airflow issues and perform ducting repairs

Perform general repairs on steam and hot water boiler systems

Safely handle and service refrigerant systems in compliance with EPA requirements

Perform copper brazing, leak repairs, component replacement, and HVAC system repairs

Perform minor plumbing repairs including toilets, drains, faucets, fixtures, and leaks

Complete minor electrical repairs including switches, outlets, fixtures, bulbs, ballasts, and sockets as permitted by state law

Perform general carpentry, drywall, painting, and building repairs

Complete service and asset inspections

Manage work orders using a tablet or smartphone and document completed work

Create service reports and quality inspection documentation

Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams

Provide estimates for larger repairs and services when needed

Participate in safety training, meetings, and an on-call rotation

What You Bring

5+ years of HVAC/general maintenance experience

Commercial or industrial HVAC experience

Strong knowledge of package and split HVAC systems

Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance

Two-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved HVAC license

EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification required

Valid driver's license

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently while traveling between customer locations
