About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing, founder-led e-commerce brand operating in the premium consumer product sector. Driving the majority of its growth through Meta ads, the business relies on a high-velocity creative system supported by external Figma design partners and video editing teams to consistently test and scale winning ad concepts.

Role Overview

We are seeking an execution-minded Performance Content Creator to design, edit, and iterate direct-response social ads. Working alongside the brand founders, you will be responsible for creating static image ads, editing video content, and building asset variations (hook swaps, crops, and visual iterations) designed specifically to improve scroll-stop rates and conversion metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Ad Concept Delivery: Ship 7 to 10 new performance ad concepts per week across static and video formats.
Static Design: Create performance-focused static image ads using Figma, Canva, or similar design tools alongside AI image generators.
Video Editing: Edit native video ads optimized for social feeds using Premiere, CapCut, or similar video editing software.
Iteration and Variant Creation: Build multiple variations from single winning concepts through hook swaps, aspect ratio crops, and messaging updates.
Partner Coordination: Utilize existing external video and graphic design teams as leverage to accelerate asset completion and export schedules.
Asset Organization: Maintain structured asset libraries, version control, and progress tracking across all creative pipelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

Proven Track Record: Experience creating performance marketing ads in the DTC e-commerce space or as an independent content creator.
Verifiable Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio showing real performance ad assets, native UGC formatting, text-on-screen structures, visual hooks, and brief performance outcomes (e.g., Hook Rate, CVR, ROAS).
Hands-on Design and Editing Skills: Proficiency in static design (Figma/Photoshop) and video editing (Premiere/CapCut) with a bias toward rapid execution over perfectionism.
Metric Literacy: Familiarity with key paid social metrics including hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
Proactive Communication: High agency mindset with the ability to flag production bottlenecks early and propose immediate solutions.
Schedule Alignment: Ability to provide at least 5 hours of daily overlap with US Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Preferred Bonus Skills

Ability to film on camera or create original content.
Direct-response copywriting skills.
Basic After Effects or motion graphic experience.
Meta Ads Manager familiarity.
