They offer an innovative, collaborative engineering environment for dynamic technical design professionals.

About the Role

We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Engineer – Designing to join an experienced cross-disciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will conceive, design, and optimize off-road tire and wheel systems, using 3D CAD modeling and CAE tools to take products from concept through manufacturing validation and market launch. You will collaborate across global teams to establish specifications, perform testing and failure analysis, and resolve product engineering challenges throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Parametric Modeling & Design: Create parametric 3D models and detailed engineering drawing packages for review, testing, and production distribution.
Design Optimization & Simulation: Develop and optimize component designs using 3D CAD software (CREO preferred) and associated CAE/FEA simulation tools.
Manufacturing & Service Feasibility: Validate manufacturing, assembly, and service feasibility for new product designs and mechanical modifications.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: Interface with multidisciplinary and international teams across regions to determine product requirements and coordinate design changes.
Operations & Production Support: Support plant operations to troubleshoot product issues, perform root-cause failure analyses, and launch new products.
Testing & Validation: Develop product specifications, conduct prototype testing, and execute failure analysis to complete successful product development.
R&D & Technology Scoping: Research materials, 3D printing capabilities, and emerging component technologies to scope development opportunities.
Data Management & Documentation: Maintain, organize, and file engineering documentation, specifications, and CAD data in a Windchill or similar PDM database environment.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in 3D parametric modeling and product development.
Software & Systems Expertise: Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (CREO preferred), FEA modeling, PDM systems (e.g., Windchill), and MS Office.
Technical Capabilities: Strong background in mechanical engineering fundamentals, product design documentation, parametric modeling, and prototyping/testing methodologies.
Domain Knowledge: Prior background or experience in tire, wheel, or off-road mechanical systems development is highly advantageous.
Core Competencies: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Work Style & Mobility: Ability to coordinate projects independently, collaborate across international cultures, and undertake occasional travel (up to 5% domestic/international).
