About the Opportunity

Our client is an established UK technology-services business with a strong portfolio spanning cybersecurity, AI, data, managed services and modern workplace solutions. They are seeking a commercially minded Digital Growth Lead to make their website a more effective engine for discovery, trust, engagement and qualified demand.

Purpose of the Role

The Digital Growth Lead will own the evidence-led improvement of the website as a growth channel. The role will increase qualified organic and AI-assisted discovery, improve buyer journeys and convert more visitors into meaningful enquiries. It combines technical SEO, conversion-rate optimisation, content structure, AI search visibility and commercial reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and prioritise the website-performance roadmap, based on SEO, analytics, user-journey and conversion insights.
Improve technical SEO foundations, page performance, metadata, indexing, site structure, internal linking and schema requirements.
Assess AI-search and answer-engine visibility; identify competitor and citation gaps, then optimise content for discovery and recommendation.
Improve landing pages, service pages, content pathways, UX and calls to action to increase meaningful enquiry conversion.
Establish a structured testing, reporting and optimisation cadence using GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, heatmaps and funnel analysis.
Manage website integrations with CRM and marketing platforms, ensuring reliable lead capture, tracking and data flow.
Brief and quality-assure technical implementation with developers or specialist partners, rather than owning the website codebase.
Report on commercial contribution, including qualified non-branded traffic, visitor-to-lead conversion, qualified leads and pipeline influence.

Skills & Experience

4–7+ years’ relevant experience in B2B website optimisation, SEO, CRO, digital analytics or growth marketing.
Strong hands-on use of GA4, Google Search Console and SEO tools; Google Tag Manager, heatmaps/session recording and A/B testing are highly advantageous.
Practical WordPress experience and working knowledge of HTML/CSS; able to translate requirements into clear developer briefs and validate delivery.
Strong grounding in search intent, technical/on-page SEO, information architecture, structured data and conversion optimisation.
Familiarity with AI search, AEO/GEO and the role of clarity, authority and structure in machine-readable content.
Experience managing CRM/marketing-platform integrations, ideally including HubSpot, and using data to improve commercial outcomes.
Webflow, HubSpot CMS, headless CMS platforms and React/Next.js exposure are useful differentiators, not essentials.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are analytical, pragmatic and outcome-focused. You enjoy getting close to the detail but can explain complex issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You are motivated by measurable improvement, comfortable working autonomously and genuinely curious about how AI is changing search and buyer behaviour.
