Performance Marketing Specialist (E-commerce)

At TLNT, we believe that recruitment is more than just filling roles — it's about connecting humans with humans. We're a people-first organization partnering with top U.S. companies to help them grow by attracting exceptional talent.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a leading US-based company — fully remote.

You'll join a woman-owned, founder-led clean skincare brand — handmade in small batches in Florida, free of synthetic fragrances and harsh chemicals, with a 500,000+ social following and national wellness press coverage. Thousands of customers have made its products part of their daily routine, and it sells direct, on Amazon and in its own storefront.

We're looking for a Paid Media Buyer with hands-on e-commerce/DTC experience — someone who has sold physical, everyday-priced products direct to consumers and knows how to make paid social profitable. This is a hybrid strategist + executor role: you'll read the data, decide what creative and campaigns should come next, and then build, launch, and optimize those campaigns yourself inside Meta and TikTok. One owner for the full campaign lifecycle — no handoffs between a strategist, a media buyer, and an agency.

The brand currently invests USD 50K–100K per month in paid media. Meta and TikTok are run in-house today, while Google and Amazon are managed by agencies — and the long-term goal is to bring all paid media in-house.

What You'll Do

Own Meta & TikTok campaigns end to end. Build, launch, and manage campaigns directly in Meta Ads Manager (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok Ads Manager — structure, audiences, budgets, bidding, and placements.
Turn data into strategy. Analyze CPA/CAC, ROAS, CTR, CPM, CPC, conversion rate, AOV and creative fatigue to decide what gets scaled, revised or paused.
Direct the creative. Use performance insights to brief creators and the marketing team on copy, hooks, visuals, angles, and offers — and identify the winning concepts to build on next.
Run a structured testing engine. Hypothesis → Launch → Measure → Learn → Iterate → Scale, across audiences, offers, hooks, formats and landing pages.
Optimize methodically. Track performance daily and weekly, catch issues early (rising CPAs, fatigue, delivery problems), and implement data-driven adjustments.
Research the market. Stay on top of competitor ads, Meta Ad Library, TikTok trends, and what's working across DTC, beauty, and wellness.
Help bring more channels in-house. Support the move to manage Google and Amazon advertising internally over time (training available).
Report clearly. Share a weekly view with leadership: what's driving new customers, which campaigns and creatives are winning or fatiguing, and what's next.

What You Bring

Proven experience as a Paid Media Buyer / Performance Marketer for e-commerce/DTC brands (required). You've sold physical products direct to consumers at an accessible price point — think vitamins, supplements, shampoo, skincare, or similar everyday products.
Hands-on campaign execution in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager — you're the one building and running campaigns in the platforms, not only advising.
Experience managing meaningful monthly ad budgets (ideally $50K+/month).
Strong analytical skills and comfort turning ad data into clear decisions.
A solid grasp of direct-response marketing and e-commerce acquisition and conversion funnels.
A sharp eye for what makes creative perform — hooks, angles, offers — and the ability to brief creators and designers clearly.
Performance over polish — you know that what converts matters more than what simply looks good.
Strong ownership, organization, and the ability to collaborate with creators, marketing team members, and leadership.
Experience with Google Ads and/or Amazon Ads is a plus.
Beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or wellness experience is a plus, but not required.
Please note: paid media experience outside DTC e-commerce (e.g., B2B, lead generation, entertainment or services) is not a substitute for this role.

What Success Looks Like

Profitable, scalable Meta and TikTok campaigns with steadily improving CPA and ROAS.
A consistent testing pipeline — never dependent on one or two winning ads.
More qualified traffic, more new customers, and a clear path to bringing all paid media in-house.
