The Mission

The Fast Track Luxury Ambassador is training to become the “Voice of Luxury” onboard. This is not a traditional retail role — you are a storyteller and a high-energy presenter first, and your primary mission is to convert theater audiences into boutique guests.

You'll use professional public speaking skills to host seminars, VIP events and “Shop the Ship” tours, while simultaneously undergoing an intensive technical education in Swiss watches and fine jewelry — working towards becoming a certified Luxury Influencer by your second contract.

Your Career Pathway

This role bridges the gap between high-potential, stage-ready talent and the specialist Luxury Influencer position — without requiring category experience on day one.

Where candidates come from — Sales Associate, Category Specialist or Pop-up Ambassador backgrounds, or entertainment, broadcasting and professional public speaking, with no luxury retail background at all.
Fast Track Luxury Ambassador (this role) — A clear 6-month programme combining live stage work with structured product training.
Certified Luxury Influencer — On successful completion, progress to the full Luxury Influencer role, representing world-class houses with a certified grounding in diamonds, gemstones and horology.

Key Responsibilities

Stage & Media Presence — Host high-impact retail seminars in the main theater and manage live “on-air” segments for the ship's internal TV channel.
Audience Conversion — Use persuasive storytelling to drive foot traffic from entertainment venues into the Luxury Boutiques.
Brand Ambassadorship — Learn to represent world-class houses (e.g. Cartier, Bvlgari, Hublot) with the poise and grooming standards of a luxury professional.
Rapid Skill Acquisition — Engage in daily technical training to master the “Four Cs” of diamonds, gemstone properties, prestige brand storytelling and horological movements.
VIP Relationship Management — Identify and cultivate high-net-worth guests through social engagement and invitation-only cocktail hours.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Public Speaking Pro — Background in professional hosting, broadcasting, theater, or cruise staff/entertainment.
The “Magnetic” Factor — A natural ability to command a room and influence consumer behavior through speech.
No Luxury Experience? No Problem — A retail background is a plus, but what matters most is willingness to learn the technical specs of a $50,000 watch.
Adaptability — Comfortable living and working onboard a luxury cruise ship for 6 months at a time.

Why This Role

Traditional luxury retail recruitment prioritizes category experience — but the hardest skill to train is stage presence. The Fast Track Luxury Ambassador programme flips that: we select for charisma and communication first, then build the product expertise around it, with a clear route map to certification within your first two contracts.

How to Apply

Submit an updated CV (PDF, ATS-friendly) including your full name, email, work history and nationality, along with a completed application form. Candidates will be guided through assessment, interview, and the standard pre-boarding process (medical, visa, STCW and HR documentation) by the Cruise Retail Academy team.
