**Candidate Note** Redherd is recruiting a Principal Security Platforms Engineer for a managed security services provider in South Africa. This hands-on technical leadership role covers Cortex XSIAM and associated security platforms, combining architecture, telemetry onboarding, detection engineering, automation and complex troubleshooting. You will help evolve multi-tenant services, improve XQL detections and integrations, support Agentic AI initiatives, and mentor engineering and SOC teams. The client seeks 10+ years in security engineering, operations or architecture, including 2+ years with Cortex XSIAM and/or XDR.
