Sr. Solar Arrays Engineer

Our client, Gama, is developing next-generation satellite power systems. They are hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Deployable Solar Arrays to design, develop, and qualify lightweight mechanical subsystems, including panel structures and photovoltaic integration. This is a hands-on role owning a major share of the array’s mechanical architecture from initial calculations and design trades through prototyping, testing, flight qualification, and production. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline; 5+ years of mechanical design/hands-on manufacturing experience; and experience taking hardware through multiple full development cycles. Spacecraft, deployable structures, and harsh-environment hardware experience preferred.
