About the Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially driven Country Manager to lead business operations and accelerate growth in Indonesia. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of the country's P&L, revenue performance, team development, and overall business strategy.

This role is ideal for a sales-driven leader who has successfully managed revenue targets, built high-performing teams, and scaled business operations. You will lead both direct-to-consumer (B2C) sales targeting students and parents and business-to-business (B2B) partnerships with schools, universities, and education agents.

Why This Role?

Own the Business: Take direct responsibility for revenue, profitability, budgets, and business performance in Indonesia.
Build from the Ground Up: Shape the local team, establish operating processes, and develop a scalable sales organization.
Drive Market Expansion: Grow both B2C sales and B2B partnership channels.
Work with Senior Leadership: Report directly to the CEO and influence key business decisions.
Make a Tangible Impact: Help more students and families access education-related opportunities through effective commercial strategies.

What You’ll Do

Own the Indonesia P&L, including revenue, margins, budgets, headcount, and overall business performance.
Set monthly and quarterly business targets and drive execution to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Lead the B2C sales function by recruiting, coaching, and developing sales teams, while optimizing the customer journey from initial inquiry to student enrollment.
Establish regular pipeline reviews, sales performance monitoring, and forecasting processes.
Develop the B2B channel by securing partnerships with schools, universities, education agents, and other relevant partners to generate qualified leads and revenue.
Collaborate with the Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
Build and lead the local management team, establish clear KPIs, and drive accountability across functions.
Oversee operations and service delivery to ensure students receive the services promised throughout their journey.
Personally manage and close high-value sales opportunities with students and parents when required.
Present weekly business performance updates, root-cause analyses, and action plans directly to the CEO.

What We’re Looking For

At least 8 years of sales experience, including 3+ years leading a country, branch, or business unit with direct revenue and budget accountability.
A proven track record of achieving sales targets in high-value, consultative B2C sales environments.
At least 3 years of experience in education, study abroad, education technology (EdTech), or education financing.
Demonstrated success in generating B2B revenue through partnerships with schools, universities, agents, or corporate clients.
Experience managing managers, building teams from the ground up, and establishing effective sales processes.
Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including P&L management, sales funnel analysis, conversion metrics, and revenue forecasting.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and professional proficiency in English.
A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience selling education-related services to students and parents or working in an early-stage consumer business is a strong advantage.
