About the Company

Our client is an established, high-growth business group managing a portfolio of distinct commercial and energy brands across North America.

The organization combines industry-leading operational expertise with modern digital marketing frameworks to educate its clientele, build high-authority organic search presence, and drive predictable customer acquisition.

They are looking for an articulate, digitally native AI Content Strategist, Copywriter & SEO Specialist who can independently execute across AI brand voice training, multi-channel copywriting, content-driven SEO, and digital PR outreach.

This is an execution-heavy role for someone who enjoys being close to written storytelling, taking ownership of multi-brand content initiatives, fine-tuning AI models, and turning high-level growth concepts into polished, conversion-focused copy.

This is not a generic prompt-pasting or basic social media scheduling position. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute across the full content and search workflow, from feeding brand context into custom LLMs through drafting blogs, writing email sequences, managing backlink outreach, and maintaining overall content-SEO site health.

Role Overview

The AI Content Strategist, Copywriter & SEO Specialist will manage the day-to-day content generation and organic search execution across the organization’s brand portfolio.

Approximately 70–80% of the role will focus on direct content creation, AI brand training, and SEO copy optimization, with approximately 20–30% focused on off-page outreach, content coordination, performance tracking, and cross-departmental alignment with technical web teams.

The ideal candidate can take a raw business objective, product update, campaign theme, or target keyword list and independently turn it into authentic, high-converting, on-brand content across multiple company websites.

This includes:

Feeding and training custom AI marketing tools with brand assets, tone guides, and customer data
Refining raw AI-generated drafts into authentic, highly engaging human copy
Writing long-form authority blogs, articles, and educational website content
Crafting lifecycle email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and ad copy
Executing on-page content SEO (meta tags, headers, keyword intent, internal linking)
Coordinating off-page backlink outreach, guest posts, and digital PR partnerships
Partnering with internal developers and IT leads who manage technical backend SEO
Tracking content performance and maintaining multi-brand content calendars

The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, applying sharp editorial judgment, and ensuring that while AI is leveraged for speed, every final output sounds unmistakably human and authentic.

Key Responsibilities

AI Model Brand Training & Voice Control

Continuously train, fine-tune, and feed context to assigned AI marketing platforms (SuperScale, ChatGPT, Claude, custom LLM frameworks) with brand guidelines, buyer personas, and past high-performing copy.
Act as the human-in-the-loop editor, taking raw AI outputs and polishing them to ensure correct tone, voice, rhythm, and accuracy across distinct brand portfolios.
Develop, test, and maintain a library of structured prompts and feedback loops to eliminate robotic phrasing, clichés, and low-quality AI outputs.

Multi-Channel Copywriting & Campaign Messaging

Write well-researched, engaging, and authoritative blog posts and articles designed to build organic reach and educate prospective clients.
Draft compelling email marketing newsletters, automated onboarding sequences, and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with the internal media specialist to write sharp, persuasive ad copy, video scripts, and social media captions.
Adapt voice and messaging seamlessly when switching between different target demographics and brand entities.

Content-Driven SEO & Organic Search Growth

Optimize all published website copy, blogs, headers, meta titles, descriptions, and image alt tags for targeted search intent.
Execute off-page content strategies, including backlink outreach, guest editorial placements, and digital PR partnerships to improve domain authority.
Review organic keyword rankings and site content health to identify content gaps and optimization opportunities.
Work closely with internal Web Developers and IT Managers (who handle technical backend architecture, server speed, and code optimization) to align content strategy with overall site health.

Content Operations & Project Management

Maintain a structured rolling content calendar across all brand assets.
Ensure all content assets go through proper proofreading, link testing, and brand approvals before publishing.
Track content and outreach performance metrics using designated spreadsheets and analytics dashboards.
Document repeatable prompts, content creation workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Hard Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of progressive experience in copy editing, content marketing, SEO writing, or digital communications.
Exceptional command of written English with a deep understanding of consumer psychology, tone, and editorial nuance.
Proven experience utilizing and prompt-engineering AI platforms (SuperScale, ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, Copy.ai, or custom LLMs) as productivity tools.
Demonstrated track record of writing SEO-optimized long-form content that ranks organically.
Experience with on-page SEO optimization tools and off-page backlink outreach strategies.
Strong spreadsheet, content tracking, and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of web publishing platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or comparable CMS).
Technical setup: High-speed internet, power backup solution (inverter/UPS where applicable), and a quiet remote workspace.

Preferred Tools

Experience with some combination of:

SuperScale, ChatGPT, Claude, or custom LLM frameworks
Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Google Search Console
WordPress, Webflow, or similar CMS platforms
Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or comparable email platforms
Google Workspace & Microsoft Excel
ClickUp, Asana, Notion, or Jira Candidates do not need experience with every tool listed. Exceptional written English, AI tool adaptability, and strong marketing execution are the primary requirements.

Soft Skills

Superior "way with words" and high language sensitivity
High attention to detail and rigorous quality control
Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented
Exceptional ambiguity tolerance and problem-solving ability
Ability to context-switch across multiple brand voices smoothly
Comfortable working under deadline pressure
Reliable follow-through and organizational discipline
Discerning eye for identifying and eliminating generic, low-quality AI copy

About the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an articulate, digitally native storyteller who embraces AI as an accelerator rather than a crutch.

You understand that while AI can generate thousands of words in seconds, it takes human empathy, strategic positioning, and sharp editorial judgment to convert a reader into a customer. You enjoy taking an ambiguous directive from leadership, feeding the right context into an AI model, editing the output until it shines, and ensuring it is optimized for search engines and distributed across the right channels.

You are comfortable juggling copy requirements across multiple brand portfolios, organizing backlink outreach, and collaborating with technical web teams to ensure the brand's digital presence remains healthy, authoritative, and growing.

Why This Role Matters

This position serves as the core engine driving the client’s organic growth, search authority, and brand communication. By mastering AI-assisted workflows and combining them with native-level English writing, the AI Content Strategist ensures the organization scales its digital reach exponentially without ever compromising on content quality, brand integrity, or conversion performance.
