Time Zone: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST, with light weekend text coverage as needed

About the Client:

Our client operates a growing network of fitness studios focused on providing personalized exercise and wellness services to its members.

The studios operate with lean, highly engaged teams, with coaches primarily focused on supporting clients during training sessions. As the business continues to grow across multiple locations, they are looking for a Sales Assistant who can provide consistent front-desk coverage, manage client and prospect communication, and ensure every lead receives timely follow-up.

About the Role:

We are looking for an organized, personable, proactive, and sales-oriented Sales Assistant to join GlobalTeam and work directly with our client across three fitness studio locations.

In this role, you will support sales and client communication operations by managing inbound calls and text messages, scheduling appointments, organizing leads in the CRM, and following up with prospective and former clients.

A major focus of the position is speed to lead, lead nurturing, and consistent follow-up. You will contact new prospects promptly, maintain communication with leads already in the pipeline, and conduct structured re-engagement outreach to former clients and prospects who have not yet visited the studios.

This is a relationship-driven sales support position rather than a traditional hard-closing role. The goal is to build rapport, explain the studios' services, and encourage prospects to schedule free introductory sessions.

You will also work alongside an AI-powered lead follow-up system, stepping in when prospects respond or when conversations require a personalized human approach.

Additionally, you will provide administrative support with recruiting and onboarding activities for new coaches and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle inbound calls and text messages from current clients across multiple studio locations.
Manage scheduling, appointment changes, and basic client account inquiries using MindBody.
Respond to new sales leads, explain services, and book free introductory sessions.
Follow up with prospects throughout the sales pipeline to increase bookings and re-engage former clients and no-show prospects through calls, texts, and structured campaigns.
Conduct after-hours sales outreach and follow-ups when required.
Maintain accurate lead records, sales activities, follow-up notes, and pipeline statuses in HubSpot CRM.
Coordinate with the AI lead follow-up system to manage warm leads, respond to inquiries, and escalate cases requiring personalized communication.
Identify interested prospects and coordinate next steps toward booking appointments.
Route client requests requiring coach or owner involvement to the appropriate team member.
Prepare weekly sales reports covering outreach, follow-ups, appointments booked, and re-engagement results.
Support onboarding across locations by coordinating paperwork, orientations, and checklists.

Required Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in sales support, lead generation, appointment setting, inside sales, customer service, or a similar client-facing role.
Strong phone presence and confidence handling inbound and outbound sales calls.
Experience managing high-volume prospect databases, nurturing leads, and converting interest into appointments.
Familiarity with scheduling and membership management platforms.
Comfort working with AI-powered lead follow-up systems and CRM automation.
Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Proactive, persistent, and results-oriented approach to sales follow-up.
Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet remote workspace, and professional call-ready equipment.

Bonus Points for:

Experience in fitness, wellness, healthcare, franchise, or membership-based industries.
Experience with customer retention, inactive client re-engagement, or lead conversion campaigns.
Experience supporting multiple business locations.
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and AI-assisted sales tools.
Experience assisting with recruiting, candidate screening, or employee onboarding.

What We Offer:

Competitive monthly compensation.
100% remote work environment.
Opportunity to work with a growing multi-location U.S. business.
Exposure to sales operations, customer relationship management, CRM automation, and business administration.
A collaborative work environment with direct interaction with company leadership.
Growth and learning opportunities through international exposure.
