About Us

Our client teaches business owners and operators to sell and deliver AI services. They run AI Operator Academy (paid community), AI Operator Hub (free community), and the Build With AI podcast and YouTube channel. Today the two founders handle all outbound and first sales calls. This hire takes that over so the founders only talk to qualified prospects.

What You Will Own

Cold email, end to end: Lead sourcing, inboxes and domains, copy, sequences, follow-ups, reply handling, and a KPI dashboard you build and update daily.
Your first campaign: A referral program that introduces companies with licensable business data to an AI training-data partner. Every closed referral pays a large fee, and you earn a share of it.
First calls: Qualify and take the calls your campaigns generate.
Community ascension: Move free AI Operator Hub members into the paid Academy through Scaling Plan delivery, DM sequences, and follow-up.
From month 3: Design and run cold email for our core AI consulting offers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves

Strong sales skills: Persuasive copy, objection handling, and qualifying calls. We weigh sales ability above technical skill.
Cold email experience, or at least cold outbound experience (calls, LinkedIn, DMs).
High agency: You work from limited information, state your assumptions, and defend your reasoning.
Excellent written English and daily comfort with AI tools. We train you on our systems.

Nice-to-Haves

Has set up cold email infrastructure (sending tools, Google inboxes, warm-up, lead data tools).
B2B or high-ticket sales experience.
Recordings of past sales calls we can review (any product).

Compensation

Base Salary:
- Part-time Trial: $1,000/month (prorated for 20 hrs/week).
- Full-time: $2,000/month (for 40 hrs/week).
Commissions & Bonuses:
- 1% referral fee share: Earned on every referral fee from data licensing leads you source (e.g., a $50,000 fee pays you $500). Commission starts on day one, including during the trial.
- Community Ascension Commission: Ability to earn additional commission from community ascension activities (exact percentage to be determined at the end of the trial period).

Hiring Process

Intro interviews with the founders.
48-hour test task: We send a short brief (the offer and target customer). You pitch the full campaign: lead sourcing, infrastructure, copy, sequence and follow-ups, and why. Be ready to defend it live.
90-day paid trial: One week of onboarding, then benchmarks at day 30, 60, and 90. Hit them and you move to full-time. Either side can end the trial early if it is not a fit.

First 90 Days Milestones & Benchmarks

Day 30

Referrals: 9 referred companies in the partner dashboard (based on about 6,000 emails/month, a 1% reply rate, and 15% of replies referred). We adjust the number as real data comes in, and effort and learning count.

Day 60 (Leading Indicators)

Volume: 6,000+ sends in days 31 to 60 on our own infrastructure, with a bounce rate under 2% and no domain flagged. If we decide at day 30 to scale, you set up and warm the new inboxes yourself from our documentation.
Reply rate: 1.0% or higher total reply rate on the referral campaign.
Follow-up: Every positive reply answered within 12 business hours, and every non-responder gets the full sequence (at least 3 touches).
Testing: At least 4 documented A/B tests (subject line, opener, call to action, list segment), with the winners rolled in.
Pipeline: 20+ cumulative referrals in the partner dashboard.
Reporting: A KPI dashboard you build and update daily without being asked (sends, replies, positive replies, form fills, referrals, pipeline stage).
Day 61 Milestone: Present a cold email campaign plan for our AI consulting offer.

Day 90 (Outcomes & Independence)

AI consulting campaign: Live by day 70, with 3,000+ sends by day 90 at a 1% or higher reply rate and 8+ qualified leads (fits our target customer and confirms interest).
Referral campaign: 30+ cumulative referrals, running without founder involvement. Referrals that reach the term-sheet stage are tracked but not graded, since the sales cycle is 45 to 60 days.
Community ascension: Own the Hub Scaling Plan DM sequence (taking it over from Nick), with every plan followed up within 24 business hours.
Independence: Under 1 hour per week of founder time on outbound, and every process you run documented as an SOP in our company knowledge base.
Day 90 review: Present results against plan, what you learned, and what you would change. Pass and you move to full-time.
