About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to own the cloud infrastructure behind a guest-facing platform that hotels rely on every day. This is a hands-on role for an autonomous engineer who can design, build, and run reliable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure, and who will act as the go-to infrastructure resource for the engineering team. You will work closely with engineering leadership and partner with backend and mobile developers to make shipping fast and safe.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all platform surfaces, including automated builds, tests, rollouts, and rollbacks.
Manage cloud infrastructure and production instances: provisioning, scaling, cost control, and environment parity.
Deploy signed-off releases after QA approval, following the R&D release plan, and run post-deploy verification.
Own monitoring, alerting, and logging for critical guest flows (check-in, ID scan, digital keys) and for PMS and lock integrations.
Act as first responder on production incidents: triage, escalate, recover, and write the post-mortem.
Implement and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 controls in the infrastructure: access management, secrets, patching, backups, change management, and audit evidence.
Support the Client Success team on environment and connectivity issues during hotel go-lives.
Help build the NOC, including dashboards, runbooks, and the on-call process.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles supporting production SaaS platforms.
Strong cloud experience (AWS preferred), with hands-on Infrastructure as Code and containers.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
Experience with observability tooling for monitoring, alerting, and logging.
Hands-on experience implementing security controls in cloud infrastructure: access management, secrets management, patching, and backups.
Calm under pressure during incidents, a clear communicator, and disciplined about documentation.

Nice to Have

Background in hospitality tech or experience with PMS integrations.
Experience with Jira and Confluence release processes.
Hands-on experience implementing ISO 27001 or SOC 2 controls.
Experience with Sentry.
Terraform experience.
