About the Company

For over 35 years, the company has provided bonded and insured same-day courier and messenger services across New York’s five boroughs and the tri-state area. Serving hospitals, law firms, financial institutions, construction companies, and e-commerce brands, the business specializes in transporting time-critical shipments when "tomorrow" is too late. The company pairs a long-standing industry reputation with a modern tech stack—including dedicated dispatch software, CRM automation, and intent-based prospecting data.

About the Role

We are hiring our first Sales Development Representative to build pipeline and open new accounts. Reporting directly to the owner, you will work closely with leadership on targeting, messaging, and deal strategy.

This is a hands-on, high-impact prospecting seat. You will engage warm intent signals, follow up on website leads, and run outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn to book qualified meetings with key decision-makers (office managers, operations leads, lab managers, and procurement teams). As you succeed, you will have the opportunity to close smaller accounts directly.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting & Lead Gen: Target priority verticals (healthcare, construction, legal, finance, retail, B2B); run multi-touch phone, email, and LinkedIn sequences tailored to industry pain points.
Warm & Intent Follow-up: Rapidly contact inbound website leads and intent-based buying signals routed through the CRM.
Qualification & Scheduling: Identify decision-makers using ZoomInfo; qualify prospects on delivery volume, frequency, and urgency; book discovery meetings with detailed handoff notes.
CRM & Data Hygiene: Maintain 100% accurate CRM records in GoHighLevel (logging calls, emails, pipeline stages, and next steps daily).
Pipeline Growth: Consistently hit weekly activity numbers and monthly targets for meetings booked and new accounts opened.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience: 3+ years in an SDR, BDR, inside sales, or outbound quota-carrying role selling logistics, courier, transportation, or other B2B services.
Phone & Outreach Discipline: Highly comfortable cold-calling without hesitation; handles objections calmly and writes clear, high-converting outbound emails.
Technical Aptitude: Hands-on experience with CRMs (e.g., GoHighLevel), prospecting/intent tools (ZoomInfo), and AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude).
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with vendor onboarding and how hospitals, labs, and law firms procure outside services.
Execution & Mindset: Highly disciplined daily habits, strong follow-through, coachable, and committed to high data accuracy.
