Bring your passion for premium, purpose-driven products to a company redefining compostable tableware and food packaging. You’ll own a high-impact territory with real white space to build, hunting for new business and growing an established region with plenty of room to expand.

World Centric

World Centric is a highly mission-driven, Certified B Corp company that seeks to have a meaningful impact on people and planet through our compostable products and the donation of 25% of profits to the most vulnerable in the world.

What You Will Do

You’ll own the South Central region end to end, with Texas as your primary focus and Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana rounding out the territory. About 60% of the role is winning new business and 40% is growing existing accounts. You’ll sell through foodservice distributors while prospecting operators and chains directly, making real judgment calls along the way about what customers want and what World Centric can deliver. You’ll have an in-market broker partner, marketing support for decks and data, and a business development team to help close larger opportunities while promoting our mission "To Be of Service to People and Planet."

Responsibilities:

Build and run your territory plan, identifying the accounts and verticals with the most room to grow
Prospect operators and chains directly and bring them on through distribution partners
Train and support distributor reps, and add new distribution where coverage is thin
Partner with your broker on daily sales activity and goals, and help shape broker strategy
Lead consultative, fact-based presentations that match customers to the right products in a 500-item catalog
Track opportunities and forecasts in NetSuite, and share market and competitive insights with the team
Represent World Centric at trade shows, conferences, and customer events

Who You Are

You have real drive and a hunter’s instinct, and you’re comfortable making judgment calls and owning them. You’re consultative, curious, and optimistic, and you like the autonomy of a smaller company where you can run your territory your way. Most of all, you genuinely believe in compostable packaging and can represent World Centric authentically as you work collaboratively with your team to drive sustainable growth in the assigned foodservice market.

Qualifications:

5+ years of B2B sales experience with clear, measurable growth results
Experience opening new accounts and building a territory
Foodservice sales experience, ideally on the supplier or manufacturer side, selling through distributors to operators and chains
Background with plant-based, alternative protein, better-for-you, or other mission-driven brands is a plus
Broker management experience preferred
Clear, concise communicator who builds trust and solid relationships at every level
Comfortable with CRM tools and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
Based in Texas, preferably near Austin, Dallas, or Houston, with comfort traveling up to 50%, mostly by car

Benefits

$120,000 - $140,000 base salary
Performance-based bonus
100% benefits coverage for employees // 80% for dependents
401k up to 6% match
