SELLING SALES MANAGER – NEW VEHICLES
Western Cape
💰 R15,000 – R20,000 Basic + Incentive Opportunity

Still love selling cars, but ready to start leading the floor too?

A large, well-established motor group is looking for a Selling Sales Manager to join a growing TATA dealership in the Western Cape.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is not quite ready to step away from the action — because you’ll still be selling, closing, prospecting and building your own customer base — but who is also ready to start taking on more leadership responsibility.

The brand is growing, the dealership is building momentum, and for the right person, this role has real potential to develop into a full Sales Management position.

What the role looks like
You’ll be part salesperson, part team leader and part deal-maker.

You’ll be expected to:

Achieve your own monthly sales targets
Help drive overall departmental volume and gross profit
Generate leads and create your own opportunities
Work showroom, online, referral and prospecting leads
Assist Sales Executives with negotiations and closing deals
Coach and motivate the team
Monitor daily activity, appointments, test drives and follow-ups
Keep the sales pipeline moving
Work closely with F&I and Administration to get deals delivered
Monitor stock availability, ageing and presentation
Help maintain strong customer experience and repeat business

What we’re looking for

Matric / Grade 12
Minimum 3 years’ motor industry sales experience
TATA experience is essential
Proven vehicle sales performance
Supervisory, 2IC or team-lead experience highly advantageous
Strong closing and negotiation skills
Confidence generating your own leads and new business
Comfortable using CMS and Microsoft Excel
Valid Code 2 driver’s licence
Strong customer and relationship-management ability
Energetic, ambitious and hungry to grow your career
Resilient and comfortable in a high-expectation, performance-driven environment
Able to stay calm, think quickly and keep moving when the pressure is on

Who will thrive here?
Someone who still gets a buzz from closing a deal.
Someone who wants more responsibility but doesn’t want to disappear behind a management desk.

Someone who can lead by example, help a teammate close a difficult customer and then go straight back to working their own pipeline.

The leadership environment is demanding, and expectations are high, so you’ll need drive, confidence and resilience.

But you’ll also be joining a growing brand within a large group, with a genuine opportunity to prove yourself and step into full Sales Management as the business develops.

Sell now. Lead next. Grow with the brand.

If you’ve got the numbers, the energy and the ambition to take the next step, we’d like to hear from you.

***TATA experience is essential. Only candidates meeting the minimum requirements will be considered***
