Role: CG Executive Assistant 66936203911

Priority Location: South Africa and Latin America

Working Hours: 9 am - 6 pm (Mon - Fri) US CST - with some weekend hours (responsive and available during the weekends; 55 hours per week required)

Salary Range: USD 4000 per month (The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview results, skills, and experience.)

Type of contract: Independent Contractor

Type of job: Remote

Sector: Investment firm, media company, and business education platform

About the Role:

You will be the operational backbone driving one of the fastest-growing media powerhouses in the world. Working directly with the founder and executive leadership, you won't just manage calendars—you will aggressively guard leadership's time, coordinate high-stakes travel and speaking engagements, and keep a fast-moving business running smoothly. This is a high-octane, 55-hour-a-week role for a bold, thick-skinned operator who thinks five steps ahead, speaks up, and loves working in a high-speed environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Calendar management and travel coordination
Managing calendar agendas and scheduling internal meetings
Coordinating availability and optimal times for external meetings
Maintaining the call scheduling tracker
Scheduling appointments and managing related invoices
Speaking engagement logistics (slides, decks, materials)
Additional tasks as delegated

Structure & Working Hours:

Works directly with the Chief of Staff and our in-person EA; reports directly to the CEO and Chris
55 hours/week is a firm requirement. This is a high-paced, high-volume role, more intense than a traditional EA.
- Working hours are 9 am to 6 pm Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend hours. The main thing is to be responsive and try to be on call on weekends

Working Style (Must-Haves):

Clear, direct communicator, no fear of over-communication, asks for clarity upfront, thick skin
Highly proactive, thinks 5 steps ahead and anticipates needs; this is not basic conflict-free calendaring
Fast responsiveness with strong triage judgment (what's urgent now vs. what can wait)
Assertive, comfortable advocating on the CEO's behalf even when uncomfortable, and defending their own work when needed
Has to be comfortable with Notion, Slack, AI, and any other common tools and tech stack.
