Key Responsibilities

Key Account Relationship Management: Build, strengthen, and maintain strategic relationships with German and European utilities, IPPs, developers, EPCs, and grid operators, serving as their primary commercial partner.
Full Sales Lifecycle Support: Drive opportunities from early prospecting and needs discovery through to commercial proposal delivery, pricing, and contract closing.
Early Technical Solutioning: Engage early in project development cycles to understand technical pain points and tailor compliant BESS configurations that align with customer business models.
Market Intelligence & Go-to-Market Strategy: Monitor and analyze German and EU power market trends (ancillary services, capacity mechanisms, grid codes) and competitor activity to support regional penetration strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with internal application engineering, product management, legal, marketing, and project delivery teams to ensure customer-centric project handoffs.
CRM & Reporting Governance: Maintain comprehensive pipeline visibility, activity tracking, customer feedback, and commercial milestone data within Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in B2B technical sales, key account management, or business development within the European renewable energy or energy storage sector.
Technical & Market Acumen: Solid foundational knowledge of BESS architectures, international standards (IEC, UL, EN), German grid codes (TSO/DSO requirements), and European energy policies (e.g., EU Green Deal, Fit for 55).
Communication & Negotiation: Strong presentation, interpersonal, and deal-structuring skills suited for multicultural, multi-stakeholder commercial environments.
Languages: Professional fluency in both German and English is essential.
Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 50% across Germany for customer meetings, project site visits, workshops, and industry conferences.
