Copywriter - Mechhive

Gift cards, payment solutions, digital products: at Mechhive in Eindhoven, you turn them into clear, compelling content for three international platforms, each with its own audience and positioning. With new products and brands launching all the time, there is always fresh content to create and existing pages to sharpen. You combine a feel for language with commercial insight and smart use of AI to write copy that people understand and search engines find. Curious what that looks like day to day? Read on.

What will you be doing?

Most of your time goes into writing, rewriting and optimising commercial, SEO-driven content: blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions and web pages. Much of this involves improving existing pages, including content that has been partly generated by AI. On top of that, new products and brands launch regularly, sometimes several in a single week. That means working at pace without losing your eye for quality.

Good copy starts with research. Fintech products, payment solutions and gift cards can be complex, so you dig deep until you can explain them clearly to readers with no financial background. Claude is your main AI tool for producing content at scale. You review and correct its output with a critical eye, and you build skills, prompts and templates that make repetitive work faster and more consistent.

All content is written in English and then localised with AI for markets across Europe and Asia, with you making sure the tone of voice is right for each one. You work closely with the SEO specialist, who sets the SEO priorities, on keyword research and page optimisation, and you help research the target audience for each product and website. You plan your own work in Linear, leaving room for small, urgent updates requested by compliance or customer support. Got ideas on the content approach or smarter ways of working? Share them with the marketing team, where you work side by side with your fellow copywriter, Weronika.

Why Mechhive?

Mechhive is an entrepreneurial tech and e-commerce company in a fintech market that changes every day, so there is always something new to write about, and you have plenty of freedom in how you approach it. With a flat structure and no managers, nobody tells you exactly what to do: you plan your own work and get to put your ideas into practice, however many years of experience you have. Being a good employer is a deliberate choice for us. With three HR professionals in a team of around thirty, we invest in your wellbeing and development through regular one-to-ones and a culture built on honesty and equal opportunities.

What's in it for you?

A gross monthly salary of €3,000 to €4,280 (based on full-time hours).
A one-year contract with Mechhive, with a view to a permanent position.
32 to 40 hours a week.
28 days' annual leave (based on full-time hours).
Office-based in Eindhoven (around 80% of the time), with one day a week working from home on a full-time contract. Mondays and Tuesdays are fixed office days.
Flexible hours: start your day any time between 7:00 and 9:30 am.
An additional pension contribution.
A quarterly team bonus.
Regular development reviews and an annual training budget of €500 once you have completed your first year.

What will you bring?

Around two years of experience in copywriting or content creation (graduates with relevant copywriting internships are also welcome to apply), plus hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
A bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or economics, for example in Commercial Economics or Marketing Management, and marketing knowledge at NIMA A/B level. If you have a strong fintech background but no marketing degree, you could still be a great fit.
Native or fluent English, Mechhive's working language, and a basic knowledge of SEO: you understand search intent, online visibility and conversion.
A commercial, analytical and critical mindset: you put the customer's needs first, turn marketing insights into concrete improvements and still catch the errors in the tenth draft of a piece, AI output included.
A fast, structured and collaborative way of working: you enjoy scaling up repetitive tasks, set your own priorities, adapt quickly to new products and tools, and share your knowledge openly with colleagues.
