About the Company

Our client is an early-stage beauty and personal care brand built by experienced consumer-goods operators. They are scaling an acquisition model that connects direct-to-consumer digital channels with national retail partners.

Role Overview

The Performance Marketer runs paid acquisition with a testing mindset.

Instead of relying on generic media buying tactics, you will design, run, and scale structured experiments across Meta, TikTok, Google, and retail media. You will manage spend pacing against CAC and MER targets and work closely with design to keep fresh hooks, angles, and variations in the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Media Buying

Build, manage, and optimize campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google and YouTube, and retail media networks including Amazon Ads.

Creative Testing

Run structured tests on hooks, formats (static and motion), landing pages, and value propositions to find winning concepts.
Scale winners without hurting efficiency.

Retail & Geo-Targeted Acquisition

Design and monitor geo-targeted campaigns around retail locations to drive store traffic and sell-through.

Budget & Pacing

Manage daily budget pacing, ROAS thresholds, blended MER, and first-order CAC in live tracking spreadsheets.

Creative Pipeline

Deliver weekly data readouts to the Senior Graphic Designer and Content & Community Manager on creative fatigue, winning elements, and next-sprint asset needs.

AI-Powered Analysis

Use AI tools and scripts to evaluate attribution, track ad trends, and speed up weekly reporting.

Hard Skills & Qualifications

3 to 5+ years deploying and managing paid media budgets for consumer or e-commerce brands on Meta, TikTok, and Google.
Proven experience running structured creative testing frameworks.
Strong comfort with CAC and LTV calculations and blended MER modeling.
Experience with third-party attribution platforms such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, or GA4.
Fluent English.
Full availability during U.S. Eastern business hours.

Strong plus:

Familiarity with marketplace advertising or retail media networks.

Soft Skills

Treats every campaign as an experiment.
Monitors efficiency proactively and makes fast optimization calls.
Independent problem-solver.
Communicates data clearly to creative teammates.
Comfortable owning spend decisions.

About the Ideal Candidate

You think like a testing engineer. You know why an ad won, not just that it won, and you can turn that into a brief the designer can act on tomorrow.

You watch pacing daily, you are calm when CAC spikes, and you like the challenge of tying online spend to what happens in physical stores.

Why This Role Matters

Paid acquisition is how new customers find the brand, online and in store. This role controls the largest share of marketing spend and sets the pace for growth.
