Schedule: U.S. Eastern Time alignment required
Compensation: $2,500 to $3,500 USD/month, depending on experience
Reports To: Executive Leadership

About the Company

Our client is an early-stage beauty and personal care brand built by experienced consumer-goods operators. The brand sells direct-to-consumer, through national retail partners, and on major marketplaces including TikTok Shop and Amazon.

They are building a full in-house growth team and are looking for the person who will lead it.

Role Overview

The Growth Marketing Manager owns revenue targets, budget allocation, and the full-funnel acquisition and retention strategy.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will decide where the next marketing dollar goes and direct four specialist functions: Performance Marketing, Lifecycle/CRM, Graphic Design, and Content & Community.

You will be as comfortable building a growth model in a spreadsheet as you are working inside an ad account or using store-level data to make the case for new retail doors.

Key Responsibilities

Omnichannel Growth Ownership

Drive customer acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and blended marketing efficiency (MER and CAC) across DTC e-commerce, wholesale retail, TikTok Shop, and Amazon.

Budget & Capital Allocation

Build full-funnel growth roadmaps.
Allocate monthly and quarterly budgets across Meta, TikTok, Google, and retail media networks.

Retail Velocity & Expansion

Lift in-store sell-through with geo-targeted campaigns, local promotional calendars, and retail media activations.
Use store velocity data to build the business case for new retail doors.

Team Leadership

Direct and work daily with the Performance Marketer, Lifecycle/CRM Marketer, Senior Graphic Designer, and Content & Community Manager.
Keep creative, technical, and retention workflows moving in sync.

Executive Reporting

Synthesize attribution data from a third-party attribution platform.
Lead weekly executive performance meetings covering pacing, MER, CAC, repeat purchase rate, and retail door performance.

AI & Automation

Use modern AI and workflow automation tools to speed up analysis, competitive research, and testing cadence.

Hard Skills & Qualifications

4 to 6+ years leading growth, or reporting directly to the head of growth, at a high-growth consumer or DTC brand.
Hands-on media buying background with direct experience managing substantial budgets across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads.
Proven experience connecting DTC paid acquisition with physical retail and marketplaces (Amazon, TikTok Shop).
Advanced spreadsheet modeling, cohort analysis, attribution modeling, and unit economics.
Fluent, professional English.
Full availability during U.S. Eastern business hours.

Preferred Tools

Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Ads
Retail media networks and marketplace advertising
Third-party attribution platforms
Advanced spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)
AI and workflow automation tools

Soft Skills

Commercially minded and comfortable owning a number.
Self-directed. Sets clear measurement frameworks without needing oversight.
Able to lead specialists while still doing hands-on work.
Clear, confident communicator with leadership.
Decisive with budget calls backed by data.

About the Ideal Candidate

You have run growth for a consumer brand and you know the numbers cold. You can explain why MER moved last week, which channel deserves more budget, and what the retail data says about the next expansion.

You are not a pure strategist. You still enjoy getting into an ad account, but you also like building a team and making four specialists work as one engine.

Why This Role Matters

This is the first leadership hire for the brand’s in-house growth team. Every acquisition, retention, and retail decision runs through this role. The person in this seat will shape how the brand scales across digital and physical shelves.
