About the Company

Our client is one of North America's best-known family resort brands, with resorts and indoor water parks across the US and Canada. Behind the guest experience is a Digital Engineering organization whose business teams are now building their own web apps and AI agents faster than ever.

They are hiring a Senior DevOps & Platform Engineer to build and run the platform that makes this possible: a shared Azure environment where every team can host, secure and scale what they build, plus the templates and tooling they use to get there. It is a hands-on, high-ownership role, DevOps first and developer second, working closely with business users and with direct influence on how AI is deployed across a large company.

Responsibilities

Design, build and own a shared Azure platform where business teams host their web apps and AI agents (App Service, Container Apps, Key Vault, networking).
Build the templates and internal tooling teams use to deploy on the platform, and keep evolving them as needs change.
Work directly with business users to understand what they want to ship, and steer them to setups the platform supports.
Automate infrastructure and delivery with infrastructure as code (Pulumi in our stack) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Set the guardrails (identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID, code review, standards) that keep each team in its own lane without slowing anyone down.
Document the platform and explain technical decisions in plain language to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure roles.
Strong hands-on cloud experience. Azure preferred; strong AWS or GCP engineers are welcome.
Infrastructure as code in production (Pulumi, Terraform or Bicep).
CI/CD pipeline design and ownership (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar).
Identity and access management in the cloud (Microsoft Entra ID or equivalent IAM).
Solid programming experience: strong in one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or .NET and comfortable working across the others.
You use AI tools in your daily work to move faster, and can show how.
Experience building a platform or environment shared by multiple teams, with clear rules and limits for each.
Fluent English, written and spoken.

Nice To Have

Hands-on experience with Azure stack: App Service, Container Apps, Key Vault, Entra ID, Pulumi and Azure DevOps.
You have built AI agents or LLM-powered apps yourself (Microsoft Foundry is a plus).
Background in large, security-conscious organizations with many internal teams.
Experience in hospitality, travel or e-commerce.

Soft Skills

Takes ownership of problems end to end and sets their own priorities, without daily standups or close supervision.
Sound judgment: knows when to make the call and when to ask for help.
Enjoys talking with business users, understands what they need and steers them to the right solution, explaining trade-offs in plain language.
Keeps pace with teams that ship fast and documents as they build, so others can run what they create.

Why This Role

Shape a new internal platform for a household-name consumer brand, with AI agents at the center of it.
Work AI-first: you are expected to use AI to get your work done, on a modern Azure stack (Pulumi, Azure DevOps, Entra ID, Microsoft Foundry).
Real autonomy: you own the problems and decide how to solve them.
Fully remote from Brazil, working directly with a US engineering leader.
