About the Role

We are searching for the sweetest ingredient our team is missing — You!

As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of freshly baked goods — from cakes, cookies, and tarts to elegant plated desserts — to delight our international guests. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef, you will also help maintain the highest standards of hygiene and organization in the galley.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts daily.
Decorate and plate pastries with creativity and artistic flair.
Maintain the pastry area in a clean, hygienic, and organized state.
Assist other kitchen sections (Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, Commis de Cuisine) when required.
Support ship operations (e.g., loading supplies).
Order ingredients and manage stock for the pastry section.
Research and develop new recipes for our dessert menus.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional pastry experience (hotel or ship).
Diploma/Degree in Patisserie, Culinary Arts, or equivalent baker’s qualification.
Excellent English communication skills (German an advantage).
Strong creativity, attention to detail, and artistic presentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility and a team spirit.
Willingness to travel and live on board for extended periods.
