Oxfam is seeking a Funding and Strategic Partnerships Director to provide strategic direction and leadership for a team that works across the global Oxfam confederation.

Oxfam is a global movement of millions of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty is not inevitable. In just 15 years, extreme poverty has been halved. 15 more years and, Oxfam believes, we can end it for good. The charity works in over 60 countries around the world with more than 3,500 partner organisations, as well as allies and communities.

This is an exciting time to be joining Oxfam as it approaches its 80^th anniversary and reinvents itself to focus on areas where the organisation can have the most impact. The charity also continues to explore new ways of fighting poverty and speaking out for a fairer world, guided by their commitment to be safe, feminist and anti-racist.

The Funding and Strategic Partnerships Director will work with a diverse range of external stakeholders including institutions, foundations, the private sector, philanthropists and artists to build long-term strategic partnerships and collaboration that will drive impact, influence and income for the communities and organisations that Oxfam works with. They will also ensure that those donors have a powerful experience of Oxfam’s story and brand, and that their partnership is valued.

The successful candidate will demonstrate Oxfam’s shared feminist leadership principles and live their values of inclusion, accountability and empowerment. You will be highly motivated and experienced in managing the performance of others and helping people to develop, grow and achieve their full potential, as well as in developing, implementing and overseeing a broad strategy and vision. You will have a record of successfully negotiating and influencing at a corporate level, both internally and externally, and of engagement with countries and global programme partners for mutual, positive outcomes.
