Master Al-driven recruitment with Recruit CRM

Employment Agency

« Back to Glossary Index

An employment agency is a bridge between organizations that have openings and candidates who are looking for employment.

Employment agencies come into the picture when the internal recruitment efforts of an organization are unable to keep up with its demand for talent thus creating a gap between the number of openings and the number of workers hired. Employment agencies fill this gap by connecting organizations with skilled candidates.

Recruiters at employment agencies are given details of the vacancy. They then work on finding the right candidates, shortlist the most relevant people and then submit them to the organization. Employment agencies are paid a fee when one of their candidates is placed.

If you plan to establish an employment (recruitment) agency, it’s important to build a network of clients and candidates that you can work with. Employment agencies that have a strong network of clients and candidates are able to successfully place more candidates and are more financially successful.
