Job summary:

Key responsibilities:

• Study scripts, memorize lines, and prepare for each role ahead of rehearsals.
• Research characters, settings, and themes to deliver believable performances.
• Attend auditions, callbacks, table reads, and rehearsals as scheduled.
• Take direction from the director and adjust performances based on feedback.
• Perform scenes on set, on stage, or in a recording booth to the required standard.
• Work with fellow cast members to build chemistry and timing in shared scenes.
• Attend costume fittings, makeup sessions, and promotional events when required.
• Follow on-set safety rules, including stunt and intimacy coordination guidelines.

• Training in acting through a degree, conservatory, or workshops, or equivalent experience.
• A portfolio, reel, or resume showing previous acting work.
• Union membership, such as [SAG-AFTRA or Actors' Equity (US), Equity (UK), MEAA (AU), or CINTAA (India)], if required for the production.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and travel.
